University of South Australia
ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA
Brief information
Studying in a vibrant Australian metropolis but saving a lot of money compared to Sydney or Melbourne? This is possible in Adelaide and with the University of South Australia! No other major city in Australia has such a low cost of living as the capital of South Australia. Students have to spend almost 20 percent less on living here compared to Sydney or Melbourne. Money left over for travel and leisure.
According to AbbreviationFinder, UniSA wants the more than 5,500 international students in particular to feel comfortable. Therefore, they are offered a free pick-up service from the airport and there are International Student Officers as well as language and study support services. The good service for students and the quality of teaching have made the university the largest in the state in a very short time. Today, UniSA is among the top 50 best young universities worldwide in the QS World University Ranking.
At UniSA, international students have access to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in subjects such as business, law, education, art and social sciences, health sciences, information technology, technology and the environment. As a technology-focused university, it is also a founding member of the Australian Technology Network (ATN).
The University of South Australia is a globally oriented university that has networked with many local companies. In addition, as a co-organizer of a series of community events, UniSA offers international students numerous activities off campus; such as the UCI World Tour cycling race, the Santos Tour Down Under, or the Adelaide Festival of Arts.

The college town of Adelaide
Located in the state of South Australia, Adelaide with its approximately 1.2 million inhabitants is particularly characterized by sporting and cultural events; hence the nickname “Capital of Festivals”.
The “Adelaide Festival”, a major art and culture festival that takes place every two years, is particularly well known. With its three internationally renowned universities, the city has a lot to offer young people, whether they want to go out, shop or just meet up. In the Mediterranean climate on the Indian Ocean with over 2500 hours of sunshine a year, you can spend your free time on the white sandy beach: the state of South Australia has a total of 32 kilometers of coastline.
During the summer, the average temperatures are 29 °C, in winter 15 °C. However, in extreme cases it can get up to 40 °C, but it never snows. Not least because of these temperatures, Adelaide has become one of the best wine-growing regions in the country.
