The second largest city in Australia after Sydney, which stretches around Port Phillip Bay, was the most livable city in the world for several years in a row until 2017.

Both the southern and eastern borders of the state of Victoria are formed by the sea. Victoria alone has 1,600 km of coastline and is located in the subtropical climate zone. The temperatures are pleasant, February is the warmest month at 20 °C.

Water lovers and sun worshipers are just as right here as culture lovers. In your free time you can surf, swim or look around the city centre, for example at the Melbourne Exhibition Center or the Victorian Arts Centre. Incidentally, the actual center with almost all sights is concentrated in just one square kilometer.
