With the semester program offered by Mente Argentina at Universidad Católica Argentina, international students have the opportunity to study in Argentina for a semester or a year. Under certain circumstances, the achievements made can be credited to the home university after prior agreement. Depending on the number of courses taken, participants receive 12 to 18 credits.
Students can choose from Latin American Studies, which is taught in Spanish in conjunction with a Spanish course, or other courses such as Accounting, Public Relations, Culinary Arts, and many others. The latter take place together with regular Argentine students, and a Spanish course is also part of the program here.
Depending on the individual previous knowledge of the Spanish language, you can put together your own program.

Requirements
If you want to take part in the semester program, you must have your high school diploma and already be enrolled at a university.
In addition, sufficient language skills must be proven by means of suitable proof for participation in Spanish-language specialist courses. In addition to the DAAD language certificate, this also includes a certificate from your home university.
No proof of language proficiency is required for specialist courses taught in English.

Campus
The huge main campus of the Universidad Católica Argentina is located in Puerto Madero, the former port area and one of the trendiest parts of Buenos Aires.
The university also has campuses in other Argentine cities such as Rosario, Mendoza and Paraná. Some of the many faculties are housed here, for example the Faculty “Teresa of Avila” in Paraná, another Faculty of Economics in Rosario or the Faculty of Humanities and Education in Mendoza.
