Smartphone in the Snow: It Does Not Work Well

Mobile phone in winter, this is an old-fashioned theme. And even if the spring is already knocking, there is still danger of cold and snow. Every year, we think about the best protection from the cold. So that the battery survives and we do not shake in the event of a breakdown without a mobile phone. But what about snow? This white stuff that sometimes falls from the sky? One thing is certain: smartphone in the snow, it’s not going well…

In winter, some dangers lurk on our smartphones. For example cold. Or more generally, temperature fluctuations. At Minusgraden the phone over hours or even days in the car forget, is unfavorable. Well, days will probably be in the rarest cases. In the meantime, forest wrecks woke up from the winter sleep, which mistakenly confuse your smartphone with provisions, should at least be the exception here. But what about snow?

All love snow! Or?

Let Us Just Say That All Love Snow. Passionate as well as involuntary drivers may perhaps protest at this point, but basically snow is something beautiful. Everything is white, it glitters and no, I do not speak of unicorns. A walk in the snow, warmly dressed, is great because it is crunching under the shoes so beautifully and away from main roads the noise from the white blanket is swallowed.

Smartphone Instead Of Snowball

In winter there are so many possibilities. Assuming the weather is good with us and snow falls. We can make snow angels, build snowmen or igloos and try to find ice sculptures. Or start a very banalsnowball fight. The smartphone must not be missing, but we want to keep the fun for eternity (?).Stupid only if you inadvertently throw the smartphone instead of a snowball. This is unfavorable for several reasons.

Please do not throw the phone

Firstly, The Mobile Phone Could Miss An Unsightly Bump according to Phonejust. Secondly, It Could suffer a fall or break the display. Not necessarily at the head of the hit, but sometimes also trees, benches and comparable objects are around the area. Depending on the force behind the throw, only parts remain in the worst case. In addition, the smartphone could simply land in the snow. Which is impractical for various reasons. But we’ll get to that later.

Tobogganing Selfs Always Go

Downhill skiing is the motto in winter. Whether it is sledging or skiing, the smartphone accompanies us everywhere. But is that so good? And do you have to be self-employed if you are just dropping the slope with the sled or snowboard? Tobogganing self-help is always a matter of course. Yes, probably already. Only the smartphone could become independent and land on the slopes. Or sinking into the snow. And anyone who wants to document his departure impressively, does it anyway with a GoPro. It delivers great pictures and at the same time you have wonderful hands free.

Where Is My Mobile Phone?

It happened. The mobile phone has landed in the snow. And sunk. If it is a white smartphone, it becomes unequal to discover the good piece. Now you could call it, but is this a good idea? If the smartphone is warmed, the snow that surrounds it may melt partially. And the liquid penetrate the housing. Rather unfavorable. A trip into the snow does not have to mean the end of the smartphone, as TechRax shows in one of his videos:

Nevertheless: do not imitate! Depending on where we are, we can actually lose our smartphone in the snow, if it is only high enough. Or the good piece will be crossed. Just as in our contribution picture at the top.
