Campus
The SDSU campus is almost a city in itself : the sun-drenched campus of the SDSU offers restaurants and food courts, supermarkets, an outdoor swimming pool and art galleries as well as various sports stadiums and an open-air amphitheater, in which large concerts and sporting events are regularly held really everything your heart desires.
Small oases of tranquility such as the popular Turtle Pond and the Mediterranean Garden are also great for a short break in between.
At the heart of campus life is the huge Aztec Student Union, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. It is not called the “living room of the campus” for nothing: in addition to a cinema, a bowling center and a games lounge with billiard tables and video games, you will also find a fitness center, outdoor terraces with numerous seating areas and many other services.
With its great location just five miles from bustling downtown San Diego, the SDSU campus is a gateway to both the Pacific and the Latin American world: Tijuana, Mexico is half an hour away and Los Angeles is just two and a half hours away. Another excursion highlight in the area is the Joshua Tree National Park, whose exciting landscapes and rock formations not only captivate U2 and climbing fans.
