Porsche Design Sport-Fall/Winter Collection

In my Lookbooks Roundup #1-Summer 2014, I looked at different collections for the summer of 2014. Now I would like to take a step further and take a first look at the upcoming autumn / winter collections 2014, exactly to its Porsche Design Sport collection , With this, the Lookbook fascinated me, because really some nice pieces were contained in it.

The Porsche Design Sport collection is the cooperation between the brands adidas and Porsche Design, which will present luxurious and innovative sportswear for the coming autumn/winter, as it was the year before. Through its directional functionality and the elegant and sporty design, the collection won the prestigious accolades Plus X Award and Red Dot Award.

It can be summarized that Porsche Design Sport stands for a contemporary, minimalist look and innovative materials. The cooperation between adidas and Porsche Design started in 2006 with a Menswear line, which defines a very own category in the field of sportswear: Engineered Luxury Sportswear. I would like to present you a selection of these items from the current collection.

Just like the first item of my choice, the Alpine Jacket (G91105), I can not tell you currently more information than the prospective selling price of 790.00 €. I personally like the cut of the jacket, as well as the color combination very well, in my opinion fits well to the style of a winter jacket.

The Driver’s Jacket (G91219), for a selling price of 490,00 €, I like because it has a minimalistic design approach, but still has a luxurious look. Personally, I loved the minimalist collar of the jacket, just look good. Also hiding behind the design of the jacket is pure technology, the jacket has a three-layered functional fabric, which is water-repellent, windproof and breathable. The jacket has a natural warmth thanks to the ribbed cuffs, the arms and the bottom of the jacket as well as the pure Merino wool lining.

From the gym series of the Porsche Design Sport collection comes the Gym Hoodie II (G91248) for a selling price of 190,00 €. This is a super-soft hooded sweatshirt with a moisture-wicking interior. With the typical hoodie kangaroo pockets. On the back of the hood is a minimalistic logo print, which signals a noble understatement. In this part, I especially loved the bright yellow color, fall immediately and looks good. What do you want more?

Normally, West is not my world at all and I can not do much about it. For the Knit Down Vest (G91268) for 450,00 € I could make an exception, however. The knitted quilting jacket is filled with 90% down and 10% with feathers. So surely wear ultra-comfortable, while maintaining warmth. Especially for the transitional season summer to autumn or autumn to winter the vest is certainly ideal.

The Knitshell Jacket (G91270) for €390.00 is similar to the Driver’s Jacket and has a relatively minimalist approach and also has this fascinating stand-up collar for me. With a knitted structure on the outside and a soft fleece on the inside, the Knitshell Jacket warms perfectly and makes every movement with.

The Tech Wool Top (G91320) for 190,00€ probably belongs to the “standard” clothing in the wardrobe. Suitable for almost every occasion, through the soft ThermoCool™-Mininowoll blend, the V-neck for men regulates the wearer’s body temperature and ensures that it does not freeze freely. In my opinion the ideal garment for the bottom.

Of course, the right shoes can not be missing, but when working with adidas and Porsche, you can almost be certain that something is going to happen. The Athletic II Mesh (M19809) for €220.00 was inspired by the racing sport and is produced in Germany in the production hall of adidas in Scheinfeld. The shoe is available in a black as well as brown version, whereby I must say that the brown variant a tick better. Because with the black is the inner lining a little too noticeable.

As you can see, the current Porsche Design Sport-Fall/Winter collection 2014 impressed me. How do you look at it, are there also a few clothes that you like? Further information on the Porsche Design Sport Collection can be found from thefreegeography.com.
