Tomorrow is the day of the LG G4, and the South Korean company will present tomorrow in style. In Engadget will continue the presentation, but before… What is what we expect from the new LG phone?
Today, we’ll talk about it, just a few hours that he finally becomes official. Have been many rumors that have dared to give them technical specifications, not yet final but that surely confirmed tomorrow. We also know some data released by the own LG, which plays the role of aumentadora of increasingly common hype in the industry. This is what we expect from the LG G4.
These are the features which we hope
We started with a list of the technical features of the LG G4. As always we have to remember that they are not official data if not an approximation based on the different rumours arising during the past months, so that the final specifications may vary regarding the captured here:

That camera and those materials
He was one of the teasers released by LG already several weeks ago, in which looked a camera along with the callsign of f1.8, the focal length of sensor.
Obviously we all think the same thing: the rear Chamber of the G4 will offer this feature that we hope to improve significantly from its predecessor, the G3 which already showed us a good performance. Also seen a laser sensor to improve the focus and the flash dual-tone common in the higher ranges.
But the image of presentation of the event leaves us with another detail that we can not pass up: the case shown in the picture appears to be leather, or some kind of premium. Another rumor claimed the existence of two designs and nine colours for the cover, including both plastic and leather.
The processor, nothing Snapdragon 810
This is a debate that we have spent years fighting. The flagships of the 2015 mounted a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, and as an example here is the HTC One M9. On the contrary of expected and unexpected surprises except, LG G4 opt a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808.
A SoC of lower range, that has hardly been in the market. It offers a total of six cores into big Setup. LITTLE, including two Cortex-A57 and other two Cortex-A53. Performance will be a priori less than of the 810, but solved those tan criticized temperature problems just a month ago.
Along with the configuration hexacore also have a 408 Adreno GPU (in front of the Adreno 430 of 810) and support for LPDDR3 (the G4 will take 3 GB, like most). It will be very interesting to be able to check their performance to determine if the change has been better or worse.
Cheap as the G3? The unknown
When the LG G3 was launched to the market many saw it as a great option because of its price, lower than its competitors of the time. With certain speed fell from the barrier of 500 euros, to then reach the 400. It was a great phone at a great price, and of facts many are recommending today.
LG G4 we know nothing of the price, and gives a bit of vertigo think that LG has thought about the bad move to upload it at the usual rates on vessels logo, about 700 euros. The success of the G3 was precisely the price lower than the competition, and would be a mistake to leave the marked path on this generation to return to normal.
Here we have several questions. Many of the components of the G4 are running similar to the G3, or with minor changes: RAM, storage… However, there are some characteristics that Yes have evolved, as camera and especially manufacturing materials. If LG put the G4’s home less than 600 euros, we can have a new best seller. If you are above that figure, I am afraid that it will be one more in the market. We hope to answer the questions tomorrow, before the end of the presentation.
