Dior Fashion Show Paris

At the Paris fashion week one of the most anticipated fashion shows was the Dior collection fall/winter 2016-2017. What happened on the catwalk? La maison occurred again, as happened to the haute couture line, bereft of its creative director. In fact, following the departure of Raf Simons’s stylistic team that is researching new lines of clothing and accessories, revisiting the historic leaders, like the famous suit Bar, and continuing the work of the designer. The applause at the end of the show, certainly not lacking, the parade is certainly very interesting, yet it remains that hint of sour taste in my mouth.

The trends of Paris Fashion week autumn/winter 2016-2017 are dictated in particular by large maison Dior and figure, without a doubt, one of them. On the catwalk presented very nice clothes, that’s for sure, but still lacks the whimsical spirit and the sophistication needed to so that it remains really impressed. Apart from some asymmetry and some fantasies, especially graphics, textures, wallpaper and leaves, there is nothing new and most importantly nothing recognizable.

After the departure of Raf Simons, the illustrious Couture House still has not chosen his predecessor. Now that makes his move, without wasting any more time. Meanwhile, among the garments presented in this edition of Mode à Parisstand out above all the coats, shorts and midi, declined in several colors such as green, white, lobster, blue and black, and almost all from a double-breasted closure and a peculiar and unusual neckline. There is no lack of fur on the runway, many with humeral openings.

More interesting the Dior dresses, the average length and embroidery all over, fancy drapes on skirts and strapless and sequins forming of delicate embroidery on the sleeves.

The tailleur Bar makes its appearance once more and more beautiful and revisited than ever, on the catwalk. Now it focuses on pure white, ideal to get noticed with style and elegance during the colder months of the year. In this regard, the color palette of this new Dior autumn/winter collection 2016-2017 is quite rich, much to boast of nuance as the Orange lobster, blue smoke, black, coffee, grass green, grey and light blue. Leading figures in this collection are undoubtedly the Dior sunglasses, especially those rods and mirrored, you get to see, along with any new proposals, flipping through images from our gallery.
